110-kV overhead line from UW Oberpullendorf to UW Rotenturm

As a significant expansion of energy generation from renewable sources is planned in central Burgenland (Oberpullendorf district), a high-performance line connection from the Oberpullendorf substation to the Rotenturm substation (Oberwart district) is required for the connection to the 380-kV-grid of Austrian Power Grid AG.

The new Mittelburgenland line will be routed from the Oberpullendorf substation to Rotenturm as a 110-kV-line system.
