380-kV-grid reinforcement in Northern Baden-Württemberg, P48
TransnetBW operates a line system with one 220-kV- and one 380-kV-circuit on the existing 380/220-kV-line LA0316 between Großgartach and Kupferzell. In future, the new LA0380 line is to be operated with two 380-kV-circuits. For structural reasons, the existing line system is not designed for this, which is why the existing line system is being replaced. The project was divided into 5 lots by the client, of which EUROPTEN was commissioned with the realization of lots 3 to 5.
Between Kupferzell and the Rittershausen grid connection point, a 380-kV-feeder line for the existing overhead line LA0348, lots 6 and 7, will be installed on an open cross-arm site, both lots of which will be implemented by EUROPTEN. The existing pylons will be reinforced and individual foundations will have to be renovated.
Construction work began in December 2023 and is scheduled to be completed by November 2026. The central warehouse for the entire construction project will be managed by EUROPTEN until December 2027.
